Whew...Talk about crazy busy day!! Our original intention was to hit the pumpkin farm and of course that never happened! We started cleaning and did not stop until it was after 5pm! INSANE! We have the baby coming home next week, so we knew we had a lot of work to do to get ready for him!!

I got to clean up my craft corner too and that desperately needed some lovin'!!

Good Morning

Well howdy! It's friday and boy am I thrilled!! I love having my husband around. I cannot believe that after being together this long, I still don't get sick of him! hahaha! I guess that's a good thing huh?

This is going ot be a fly by posting as we're headed out in a bit to pick up some stuff for dinner and then to the park! It's a great day out and we have got to take advantage of it!

I'm hoping to get some great photos taken too, I'm loving my new camera! It's AWESOME to work with and sooo easy! I can't promote the Kodak Line enough!! There are all the features I need to have AWESOME photos and it's as easy as a point and click to figure out!!

I'm trying to think of a good promotion for this week, since it's baby week! So keep your eyes on the shop!!

Neglected Again

Well I skipped another day here and I feel awful! I'm actually exhausted right now, but I needed to give this blog some love!!

It's been hectic having to go back and forth to the Doctor a lot lately, I'm just so tired of it all. There has been a lot going on and of course only more to come. We are doing a deep clean of everything in the place this weekend in prep for the baby and then the carpets are being spot cleaned & I have been given an ultimatum to make the craft space look a little more 'organized' YIKES!

I've started packing my hospital bag, but realized I still need so much more!! I can't believe how expensive a breast punp is!! I'm dying here trying to figure out which one to get and all that jazz!

We have a hospital tour and appt. to go to this weekend too and of course our little princesses last class with all her little friends. She was in a small speech group and it has done wonders for her and her brother! Next up will be dance lessons for them both. I was going to sign up for a weekday class, but husband doesn't want to miss it, so they will be going on a saturday! Yay! because now I will have help with the baby while watching the class.

I've worked on soo many new pieces these past few days in anticipation of the lag I will go through once the new little guy gets here!

My Dr. Makes Me laugh

Oh wow! get this!! I had an appt. yesterday and not only were we there forever, but of course we still have to do it all again 2 more times this week and 2 more times next week before baby day! grr...

Anyways, so we are about to leave and he says to me: It's time to start counting baby kicks. For one hour in the morning I would like you to lie down and count the babies kicks.......

At Night lie down for an hour and count the babies kicks.....



ummm....Is this guy a comedian? Because WHERE on EARTH does he expect me to find TWO hours to just lay there??????? RIght now i'm online or crafting during nap time and that's in the middle of the day, so it's not the right time and my husband comes home for lunch but that too is in the middle of the day. Oh well at least he made me laugh!!

Wow! A whole day forgotten! I'm so sorry! it's just been a busy week with the Dr. appointments and the mess that seriously must reach to the ceiling on my craft table from the show! It's a disaster!!

Myhusband must want to kill me, because I still keep crafting even though I don't have a table, so I use the dining room table! YIKES!

I have been working on some great new button pieces, because my supply needs to be eaten away! I have too many buttons, and an itch to buy more! What is your supply weakness?? I can just never say no to buttons!!

I need some funky craft shows so that I have an even better sales day! My stuff is definately NOT for the old lady set! Any ideas in my area? I'm willing to travel, just not too far since I will soon have 3 kids and my husband will probably explode watching all 3! hahaha! We also don't like to leave our children with anyone, so that's NOT an option. We are THOSE weird people! hahah! We knew what we wanted to do with our kids before we had them and we're having a blast doing it!

YAY for the weekend though!

The craft show was a lot of fun!! My dad and husband ended up helping me out, which was GREEEAT, I love hanging out with them and then afterwards...

I GOT MY NEW CAMERA!!!! You can totally tell the difference in my newer stuff! It's just taking me FOREVER to re-do all the photos! YIKES!

I have an ultra sound tomorrow, so that is pretty fun too! Hope the little guy is getting big enough for his debut in less than 2 weeks!! WOW!

I'm still fooking around with my new toy, so I don't have much to say right now, except I have a VENT about old people at craft shows! I will have to share it later though!!


I had some rude comments on how my stuff was for 6 yr olds!!! AUGHH!!! IMAGINE?? umm...no it's actually trendy stuff that you have no clue what you are talking about crazy old lady!!

So Annoyed!

Well today was a fabulous day UNTIL right about now! I need to get to bed as I have a craft show in the morning, but I had to share!

I belong to an online community that I am about to kick to the curb after this. I really enjoy sharing my work with them and then I ALWAYS help people with step by step instructions on how to do my work and where to get supplies and even inform on when there is a sale. I NEVER EVER keep this community out of the loop by saying
"oh i've been doing it for years, just practice and you will get better!"

So anyways, on one of my postings, someone asked if I sold my stuff and I said:

"yes I have an online store and I do custom work too"

Well this bitchy gal reported me and I got in trouble! Can you believe it?? This girl that posts her pictures CONSTANTLY and never helps ANYONE and ONLY posts in the craft forum, never anywhere else, and is always 'secretive' about how she does her work.

What a freak! So i'm annoyed by this, I think i'm just going to dump this community anyways, I just wanted to let me friends know when I had my baby etc. But I guess I can let them know through e-mail and stuff :)

Todays VENT of the DAY is PEOPLE!

AUGHH!!!! Alright I went to get some chain at HObby Lobby and I buy mine by the yard, so I had to go and get the stuff cut...well I get to the counter at the same time as this woman and I have ONE little spool ofchain to get cut up into 3 yards..SIMPLE! Thats' IT! ONE SNIP!

Well she bumps me to the side and says I WAS HERE FIRST and proceeds to empty out TEN Fabric bolts that she needs in varying sizes and then FIVE bolts of RIBBON she needs cut TOO!!

So the Cashier lady then said "She only has one chain to cut fast, do you mind if I take her??"

old crazy fabric lady then says:

"um I was here first, so I should get to go first"

Hobby Lobby lady and I then share a LOOK and roll our eyes as scary crazy old cat lady just looks on with a grin.

I just tell the Hobby Lobby Lady that I need 3 yards and put a post it on it and then take off to do my shopping and head back there later to get it when she is done.

Grrrr....It would have taken Crazy Old Bat Cat LAdy 3 seconds of extra time!!!!

So my vent was not really people in general just towards the:

I've had a much better day staying calm and not getting all worked up! My MIL was right this evening when she says to just take it easy because it will be over all too soon. I really don't want to rush these last days that my little boy is only mine. While he is growing inside of me, I don't have to share him and it's like we have our own secret language. All too quickly they grow up, move out, get married and get a life of their own.

YAAAAAY!

hahaah :) I say that now, only because our little girl entered out lives toooo quickly and before we knew it we were parents! It would be nice to have some 'married' time :) So I guess we will have to wait until we are old and gray! :)

Good Morning

Happy Hump day everyone! I'm in a much better mood today and ready to calm down from all my venting!!! I think I'm just getting annoyed being pregnant and having to go to the Dr. ALL THE TIME. So I sat down late last night and husband and I chatted and played a game (which I won of course) and then I did some beading! It really helped ALOT. MY work is my way to calm down! Now I just need a sale today and this day will be complete :)

16 DAYS???

Well It's official! I'm having a baby in 16 days! OMG! How on EARTH am I going to get everything done in time????? I cannot believe how much we still need and this is baby #3! CRAZY!!!

Todays Vent:

My darling wonderful husband! He truly is a dream except for one thing....THE PHONE! he hates it! My parents and I talk at LEAST 2 times a week and if they don't hear from me after a few days they call me and make sure everything is alright! I love chatting with them as long as they don't start moanin about when we are going to see them!! Which lately they have gotten the hint ;) Anyways....I chatted with my mom for like 45 minutes today and then my dad for a tad bit longer. I asked husband if he was going to call anyone to let them know about baby day......and he said Nah..It's like pulling teeth to get this guy to call his family members JUST to say hi! And then when he finally does, he's like dead silent writing on paper notes to me about what to say!?!?! Grrr...How hard is it to speak to YOUR PARENTS????

I don't get it at all!!! He says it's because he's afraid since everyone wants to see the kids and he would just rather avoid confrontation than deal with the cold shoulder when we have plans already... I just laugh!

This is how it goes I tell him:

Mom: Hey michelle, it's been a long time since you've been here.

Me: Tell me about it, we've been busy

mom: So when will you get here?

Me: When I have a chance...last I checked, Your car works and you have NO ONE to bring but yourself

Mom: It's far

Me: DUH! I drive the same amount with TWO KIDS AND PREGNANT to get there.

Mom: Michelle, you should take some time...

ME: Don't start.

There Done...Over! Mom talks about something else and life goes on! Who is AFRAID of their parents????

Yup that's my vent of the day! He fell asleep here on the couch next to me and if he wasn't so darn cute I would be mad ;)

Ughhh... I already had to lay down the law about the day the baby is born... I DO NOT WANT ANYONE THERE! I'm going in for SURGERY to have them REMOVE a PERSON from my body! My parents must be there and THAT IS IT! They are watching my kids and that's ALL I want seeing me after surgery! THEN After they meet the little guy, I want them to go on their way and I want to spend time introducing MY BABIES to my new Baby! Is that too much to ask?!?! I remember how awful it was for the hours after surgery last time AND it was evening, so I at least got to go to sleep!

My craft show is this weekend!!! I am going crazy getting everything ready for the show, but I cannot believe how much there is to do still.

I'm looking into doing an OPEN HOUSE too, So if you are near or around Rockford IL and are selling anything (from AVON to tupperware to home made goods) let's get together and have all things for sale in one place! The Open house is a GREAT way to get traffic to your online store and familiarize people with your product!!

Hi all!! Finally the day is winding down! I swear I thought it would never end! The morning went by really fast and then it just started to draaaagggggg.....

My evening vent if towards people that think I'm their personal gift maker. I LOVE making my stuff....BUT NOT FOR FREE!!! Do you know how many people owe me money??? I'm awful about asking for it too!! Here is the worst part....I know they are collecting money for my stuff when they give it to someone else. GRRR Makes me want to explode! I just hope that at least my Business card is getting passed around with these things. I have friends that will drop me an order and then when I deliver I just get a smile and a "I'll get you next time" YIKES!

It's got to stop NOW! I'm going to start saying PAYPAL only and I will mail it out to you! Or something like that. Why do people EXPECT free stuff?? It costs me money to MAKE EVERYTHING and yet they don't care.

It's not like i'm making millions from this either!

What am I Doing Wrong???

Well this is my think piece of the week, and I'm apologizing ahead of time as I am not putting my all into it, since I am so tired!!

I have been hearing ALOT of moaning and groaning on TV, in real life and in movies, online etc... about Mother In Laws from hell! YIKES! So I guess my question is what am I doing wrong? hahaha! I really like mine. She's really sweet, loves her son (my husband) and minds her own business! hahaha :) Really! She's nothing like these nightmares I read about. I was wondering if there is a verrrrry small minority of us that actually like thier MILs???

I will admit that I don't call her mom though! Does that make me wierd??? I just feel odd about it. I have a mom and I love my mom so much, that I just can't add on another one. Know what I mean? My mom is an amazing woman who sacraficed a lot to make me who I am today (bitchy and mean ;) ) and I appreciate her for everything, and well there just is no other mom like her. I know it's not a replacement or anything like that, but it's just wierd to me. I've been married 3 years and nothing has changed in that department.

I have seen people that call their Inlaws mom and dad before they are even married!! YIKES! That kind of creeeps me out! hahaha!!! Like I said I march to a different beat, so I could totally be alone here.

I do call my husbands grandmother Grandma though. It feels right. I think it's because I lost my best friend grandma when I was 18 at a crucial point in my life and I miss her every minute of every day still. I have another grandma, who is just too far away in another country and I don't see her nearly as often as I wish...So maybe just maybe I wish husbands grandma were really mine?? I like her so much and she's the greatest. A replacement?? Maybe not, because I still think about my real grandma, but at least she's here and I can hug her :) Ahh...now i'm getting all sappy and that's not me!

Another thing I'm doing wrong is the whole 'family' insanity thing! There is just not enough time in the weekends I SWEAR! we have so much going on it's crazy. I feel that there is only so much we can do right now and everyone is barking down our throats about seeing their 'grandkids' blahhh...

Peeps you gotta realize we have lives too and just because you have a free day does NOT mean our day is free too! I only hope these people realize that with 3 kids we will be leaving home even less often!!!! It's hard enough as it is.

So sorry guys, but if you want to see us, I SWEAR I just travelled on it yesterday! The highway DOES extend this way!!! Can you believe it!!!!! But now if only our schedule freed up!! ;) We already skipped one of my daughters classes this week, to steal away for our family time, and I feel bad, so we have to stay on top of that!!!

NEGLECT!!

Hi all! I apologize profusely for how busy I have been this weekend! It has just been the never ending appointment, meeting, running around day! And then get this!!!

I made 5 SALES TODAY!! How cool is that?! I'm super happy!!

Life is definately good, but I am also DEFINATELY exhausted!!

Yesterday took us to a giant rummage sale of sorts and found us some fantastic stuff! I could not believe how big this place was though. There were some super rude old ladies too! Just pushing and doing whatever they wanted just because they were old!!! That drove me nuts, I just wanted to push and shove them back half the time. People were just snagging ANYTHING they saw, not even thinking about it! hahaah It was pretty funny.

Then we hit up the Zoo for the last time this year and that was soo much fun! The kids had a blast running around and got worn out by the time it closed. A very special day indeed!

I still managed to get some new pieces in my store, so that was a good thing too! YAYY!

The day really has me exhausted though, so i'm sorry to cut this one short!

It's madness!!

Sorry it's been so long since i've updated!!! I've just been so exhausted lately and i've had a couple custom orders to handle too! I cannot believe how quickly this week went by! It's FRIIIDAY!!! I feel like I just wrote that about last week!

I made the mistake of running some errands with the kids while husband is at work, and boy did it knock me out! I was soo tired, I thought I was going to collapse! At one point I had to go and sit down for a bit!

I swear there are NOT enough people reading this blog! Because as I went to Hobby Lobby last night, there had to be at LEAST THREE people ask me if i was OVER DUE, since I was so HUGE! YESSS they used the word HUGE!

My hormones had me raging so much, I just wanted to pick up the curtain rod I had and beat them with it! (Wonder if it would be justified?). People really need to get a clue!

On another note, I CANNOT stand people that are in their own world while shopping that they let their kids run WILD! This woman was in the fabric aisle just doing her thing, while her (I would say 8-10 year old) child was DRAGGING HERSELF across the DIRTY floor! On her belly!!!! She had on a skirt too. This girl was laying on her belly and she was using her arms to get herself around on the FLOOR! It was DISGUSTING! My two year old said "blahhhh" I mean even she knew how gross that was! The mom saw her kid doing it twice and didn't say a word, just kept doing her shopping. EWWWW.....

I've listed a bunch of new things in my shop, since I had some time to photograph and I must say I NEED A NEW CAMERA! ughh my photos are awful and I swear that I would sell more if my pics were clearer! I did have 1 sale today though, so that made me happy!! I LOVE IT!

I've also had a couple brilliant ideas for product, that i've been working on today, so let's hope I can get those up soon!!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us, so forgive me if i don't update again until sunday evening!!!

Oh What a night!

Alright, I will not sing for you! I don't want to scare anyone away!! Thanks for the new compliments everyone :)

I am really trying NOT to neglect this blog, but today was just plain busy all day and then I even tried to take a nap, but alas I was just about to close my eyes when one of my little ones woke up! grr....

So I'm really tired and wanting to go to bed right now, but each time I get in bed, my husband is snoring up the biggest STORM in the world!! I have tried it all unsiccessfully, and now here I am! I figured I better at least get todays post in, since I have an excuse to be awake!
So much for getting a full nights rest today!

If you have any advice on how to stop a snoring monster, please send it my way!!! I've shaken, turned, squeezed noses, pushed, punched and even pulled hair! NOTHING works! This guy is OUT!

Today was a GORGEOUS weather day! I could not believe how wonderful it was! A day that begged to be spent outdoors! So I think that is what made everyone exhausted! We were all knocked out come the end of the day! It was Enchilada night and boy were they YUMMY!!

Well today was pretty boring to read I can already tell! Don't want to keep you all reading here for no reason, so i'm out!

Just another day!

Well it's been a slow morning so far, but we have a couple of errands to run this afternoon! Off to the post office to get some orders out and then to the grocers to pick up some stuff for salad for dinner tonight!

I have not had any time to work on any pieces today yet as nap time was totally delayed and my kids are stillll awake! My husband just walked in the door for lunch though, so that helps!

Today i've been craving watermelon LIKE CRAZY! I really need to pick me up some of that!! And I would looove a Lemon flavored popsicle!

I have about 25 more loads of laundry to do today as it's bedding day and blahhh boy do I hate it! My kids think it's fun to step on the sheets that I have dragging on the floor as I carry them to the wash and then I almost fall and they laugh for liek 20 minutes! EACH TIME! hahaha!!

I live with a bunch of comedians!

This weekend is an amazingly huge garage sale, rummage sale type of thing and I CANNOT WAIT to hit it up!! We already have the van prepped!

We like to garage sale like CRAZY all summer and then HOARD it all for winter when it goes on EBAY! People tend to be deprived of garage sales at that time and head towards EBAY!

NOT TO MENTION! I'm hoping ot vind some AWESOME vintage pieces too!! YAY!

Manic Monday!

AUGHH!!! It was a total manic monday! SO much running around to do and in not time the day way over!

It was a good day though, just tiring!

anyone here like crafting?? Joanns has a FABULOUS coupon flyer this week AND lots of great buttons for .10!!! I could not believe it!! I'm looking to make something good now with all the goodies I go for under 6$!!! WOOHOO!!

I had 2 sales today and that was another good feeling! The doctor and I have ALMOST nailed down a baby date and the library books have actually been returned ON TIME!

Life is good today!! EXCEPT i was a total lazy bum and bad mom! I allowed Mcdonalds for dinner because I was too wiped out to cook after all that! YIKES!

Oh well back to normal tomorrow!!

The week begins!

Another appointment in the afternoon tomorrow, so i'm getting ready for that and the great news is that I had another SALE! YAY! So that certainly brightened up my weekend!
It was a tiring evening as we re-arranged our bedroom! We are keeping the baby in his bassinet near the bed for the first few months if not a bit longer, just for feeding purposes. SO we moved around a bunch of stuff (ie: husband moved, I dictated!) and it looks great! We then proceeded to play our sunday night game of Scategories in the room! hahah! I WON! (of course!)

Other than that there was not too much more going on, just the usual routine of playing outside stuff!!

I have no new rants today, but it could be because we've been busy all day and haven't really stopped to talk to anyone :) So we have not encountered any rudeness! AND best of all it's sunday!! So that means no mail ;)

Yup that's life, growing up and becoming JUST a mom! But not to worry Friends, I would leave with you if I could! (Granted the cheerios in my hair, the leather pants that don't zip and my 2 yr old make up stash would probably scare away ANY chance of you having fun!).

YIKES! I hit a nerve with that last posting huh? hahaha! Thanks for all the e-mails guys, but let your comments show too! People want to read what you think :) It hasn't even been up that long and it's good to see I am not alone!!

Well the kids are asleep and we just finished having some ice cream, but now I have ot get some work done! Todays piece was a custom order and I liked it so much, I made two! I will put one in my shop! As soon as I can figure out why the photos are not working, I will post more!

I would like to also apologize for my nasty spelling in a couple of these posts! When I start typing out a story, I don't stop until it's done!!!

So let me defend all the blathering I do by saying I am 8 months pregnant with another Boy and I have put on 70lbs with this little guy, so I can barely move and I go from one appt to another on saturdays an have barely any time to think...

Events of a LifeTime????

AUGHH!!! ENOUGH ALREADYYY!!! I swear I just want to scream! I DREAD the invitation! You know what I mean, you go out to the mail ready for your junk mail, your bills and of course your juicy magazines!!! Then there is the even more fun stuff! The packages!! But I DO NOT under any circumstances enjoy getting the INVITE!

It really is like the curse of the black pearl for us! husband tries to stuff it back in the mail box, i keep hoping it will fall in the trash before we get inside and then it sits on the counter...staring at us...begging us to open it! We throw mail on it, we spill stuff on it and yet is still standy there as though it's telling us IT WILL WIN...

Finally we've had enough, it just won't back down and one of us opens it....blahhh another one of those events that you just DO NOT understand for the life of you WHY you have to go and why people would want you there?????

Then comes the inevitable run for the calendar in hopes we have plans that day!! If not, we lose again and up comes the argument over who has to call and RSVP!

I'm a small family type of person! I HATE having to invite people to my kids birthday parties, why? because i HATE going to them! They are such a pain, you don't know what to buy, you don't want to be around kids all day especially if they are not yours. Then there is of course husband, who thinks of every excuse not to go and fights it up to the last minute, but WILL NOT call and say NO himself! He's a big chicken! hahaah!

In this relationship, I am the mean one! You know the one EVERYONE blames if something is not to their liking?? "ahh well you know that Michelle, she always gets her way..." (insert a major eye roll and eveil laugh here!!!)

Little do they honestly know that my husband is tied up in the garage all day and I only let him out to go to work and make the money! Then back he goes! I make all his deicisions for him, up to what underwear to put on in the morning and he NEVER gets a say in anything we do! Yup that's me! The WICKED WITCH OF Rockford, or wherever we tend to be visiting that day!

Oh well it's hilarious!

Back to the dreaded invite!

So we actually get to this function whether it be a birthday party, bat mitzva, wedding, 3rd cousins first time using the potty, grandpas last tooth falling out..you know ANYTHING for a reason to party!

And they always turn out the same way...Husband and I talking to eachother in front of a TV with a program on we would never watch. Then we're chasing kids around that might break something because NO ONE child proofs their home (WE DO NOT EXPECT IT!!) BUT they tell us "oh they are fine, it's not a big deal....kids will be kids.... (WE DO NOT feel this way, our kids MUST behave EVERYWHERE!). So we are then ridiculed for not leaving our kids out of our site...grrrr... YET when you talk to these people again, they are the ones complaining about kim bobs son knocking over the 20$ miniature porcelain bell that was great aunt pegs. grrr....

So answer me this...

Are we the ONLY ones that CHEERED when people RSVPd NO to coming to our wedding???

The ONLY people that DANCED when people could not make it to our sons baptism

and the ONLY people that partied like there was no tomorrow when we had only 5 people in our house for Christmas??

We are a family that is just getting to know each other and we love spending this time together, not spending it together at someone elses house talking to each other!!!


So in conclusion I want to say, i'm bitchy I know! But it's time to let husband up for dinner ;)

I have to also say that we are slowly standing up for ourselves b/c a friend of mine told me that people will treat you like a child if that's the way you let them treat you!

NO MORE! We are taking a STAND!

Baby Showers???

Alright, what am I missing here? This is baby #3 and i've never had one! My friends are looking at me like I have 2 heads when I admit this! Is this something everyone must have?? I've been invited to my fair share of them and wrapping myself in toilet paper and counting how many jelly beans are in a baby bottle is a little over the top for me!

Then I start thinking about the 30 page registries i've seen that register for everything and anything that has the word BABY on it. The thought of having to take one of those scan guns down any aisles makes me want to vomit! Why couldn't I just say Diapers, Binkies, Wipes and Wascloths...That about covers everything that is necessary!

Then there is that couple that registers for the ridiculous, like a treadmill??? ummm why on EARTH is that on there???

Oh and of course then you have the fact that you are ENORMOUS, swollen, TIRED, and cranky and yet you have to ooh and ahhh over everything???!!! Nahhh....just give me a plate of food and let my husband open the presents, play the games and entertain! I will eat, take a nap and then go home :)

Free stuff is always good, but when I come to think about it, what do I even need?? The last thing I want to do is put on a dress, and talk about how cute that WHITE CASHMERE sweater is when I know IN TWO seconds flat the front will be stained with puke and the back with a myriad of goodies!

Ahh.. MAybe this is the fact that I am a 3 time mom and maybe just maybe the first time mommy in me was sad to have not gotten a shower and MAYBE just maybe that first time mommy would have had a 30 page registry full of fluff....but well this old timer is ready to roll and really just wants Diapers! PLEASE!

Oh and maybe a cake!

mmmmmmm.....and some lemonade!!!!!

Oh and a couple cases of wipes would be GREAT!

but skip the games!!! ESPECIALLY the GUESS HOW MUCH WEIGHT SHE HAS GAINED ones!

Alright maybe i'm just bitter that i'm not cool enough to have friends to throw me a shower....but then again....maybe i'm just a cranky old woman who is just tired of being pregnant and wants to reach in and pull this kid out herself!!

FRIIDAY!

ooo I must admit I am totally happy that TODAY is FRIDAY!! Does anyone else here love the weekends as much as I do? I don't work, because well i'm JUST a stay at home mom ;) BUT it means 2 days with my husband and we get to spend time together as a family!!

I have a Drs appt. this weekend again due to the blood pressure thing, and then we are hoping to make it out to the zoo!! YAY!

It's all about halloween! Trick or trweating, ghosts, goblins, grave yards! All the spooky things this holiday has to offer!!

Had to pick up some supplies at Hobby Lobby yesterday (40% off coupon online!! don't forget! www.hobbylobby.com) and at the entrance they hada bout 40 or so scarecrows and my kids were TERRIFIED! you would have thought they were runnign around swooping down on them and pecking at their heads!! As a good mommy you would also think I would rush them out of there and comfort them!!!

Well I failed the good mommy test! I laughed....yup i stopped walking and laughed. (insert mean mommy icon here). I did eventuall pick them both up and get them inside, but at this point in time the damage had been done and i'm sure they are going to need therapy as they get older ;)

Of course husband had gone to park the car and when he came in to hear the story, he too laughed.... (Insert icon of bunches of old ladies shaking their heads at us).

Today I'm floating! I had another custom order and got paid for my final EBAY auction! All in all it was a good day! So this is my LOVE jewelry! Just finished today and I LOVE it! I think I will have to make the necklace for myself now too!

My kids have me exhausted today! We ran around like crazy with errands and then off to the park! They were so cute chasing each other in the fields and then it was all over when the ice cream man drove by! Then we HAD to have some! hahaah!

On the way home we hit an estate sale and I hit the mother load on vintage buttons!! I cannot wait to go through them and sort them all! I started to, but my little guy kept getting a little too close for comfort! So looks like that will have to wait until my personal time!! Should be any minute now ;) Husband is looking tired!!

Dreaming

Morning everyone!!

I've been dreaming alot lately with my husband! We want to open up a small shop. I'm soo afraid to take leaps though! Know what I mean? There is just so much risk involved and we have 2 almost 3 little ones to think about. So it looks like our dream will stay just that for awhile anyways!

Do you have dreams that you look back on every now and then just to keep you motivated and thinking 'What if?' I have a few of them, but I try not to just keep them as dreams, I make an attempt to tackle everything I want to do. This one though is a biggie! Ah well at least husband and I dream together, that's fun! We always picture the way things will be and such! It is fun to dream :)

I've got a big day ahead of me! Too much to do and yet here i sit! I just gave the kids a snack, so I figure i've got about 10 minutes with them sitting here nicely! haha! Outside was just too hot for us today!!

Mortified!!

All my Ebay auctions ended, so off we went to deliver all the packages to the post office (I deliver as soon as payment is recieved)(PRINCESSBEADCHARM). Well I had a lot of big boxes, so we all went! After that I drop the kids and husband off at home and off I head to the craft store to get some supplies.

As I park, my FAVORITE song comes on!!!

I turn it up and start to sing like CRAZY! I mean LOUD with dance moves and even some cool facial expressions!!!!

The crickets are chirping (literally, we have a gheko and he was just fed!), the wind is whistling softly and the smell of fresh cut watermelon is in the air. The family is asleep and I am relishing this silence that has overcome the house. It's almost as though time stops. I wish I could be a true insomniac and stay up all night enjoying this before the insanity starts up again at around 6am.

I love to sit and stare outside at the empty street and catch an occasional car drive by, as I work on my jewelry or just type away. I like to listen to Michael Buble and Josh Groban softly serenading me from the buds of my IPOD. The evening is mine and sometimes I want the night to stretch on forever. The stars light up the night and the moon eerily illuminates the outdoors. Is it odd that I sit here in the dark with only the glow of the computer as my companion? These are the moments that I think about all the cute things the kids did today, the wonderful stuff my husband said and took care of today and most of all the time I give thanks for all I have. I really am very lucky. To be loved is truly a feeling that keeps me feeling energized all day. Its a feeling that makes me swell with happiness. Love can really do so much more than many people think.

Another day is over and one more is just a sunrise away, but for now, I will sit here in the dark and think about how perfect a few minutes alone can truly be.

Getting Ready!

I have a craft fair at the end of the month and I have been using up every spare minute I have getting everything ready, but the thing is...with 2 kids, there really are no spare minutes! At least it's naptime here, so I have some free time.

I've been working on some new stuff and getting my displays together, but I think what I really need is to just relax! Otherwise I may through myself into an early labor and screw it all up! hahah!

Anyone have any tips for me for this upcoming show? It's going to be a SMALL show, and I have a feeling the crowd may be OLD...the problem with that is that I have a very young vibe to a majority of my jewelry. I'm kitchy and quirky!! So i'm worried about that big time!!! Anyone else ever encounter this?

I've sent out flyers to my old customers that are pretty local, but other than that, I am just getting nervous! I was afraid that my only sale would be from my mom.... But then she went and told me that she can't even make it that day to help out! hahahahah!! So no mom sale! Not to worry because my super dad came to the rescue! So he will be there to help me out! husband will be taking the kids out on the town for a daddy and kids day and then be bringing us lunch and such things :) I wouldn't mind doing it alone, but being so far along in the pregnancy, I want to make sure I have all bases covered! The bonus is that this show is closer to the hospital than my house is!! YAY!

Labor Day!

Ahhh.... Why do I feel that on a day you are supposed to take a break from working, I seem to work even more? I swear today could not get any busier. Too much running around and i'm on total family overload. You know, on those days you just want to sit at home and get the place clean? But instead you have to go everywhere and anywhere around the globe because people don't realize the highway goes both ways???

I am however at the moment feeling exhausted! Husband is rubbing my shoulders and i'm still tense! My doctor informed me that my blood pressure was too high again (surprise surprise, wonder why??) and I have to relax! hahahaahhah!! He must not know my family!!!
I am as big as a house and I have too many people telling me that to my face! And they are TOTAL STRANGERS at the grocery store, mall etc. These people really need to get a life! LEAVE ME ALONE! Oh and PS:

Hospital Etiquette?

Well I just got back from having some testing done at the hospital and we're off in a bit to another hospital to visit a sick relative. Now when you walk into a shared room and the person you know is in the far bed, what do you do?

Do you stop and chat with the first person?
Give them a smile and a wave?
Walk right by and make no eye contact?
Put on your invisibility cloak and just stroll in the room???

I am the right by and no eye contact type of person, I don't know if they want me looking at them, or if they even know I'm walking past. I get all nervous about this less than one second encounter and I have no idea why!! I think about it in the parking lot, i mention it to my husband (who really doesn't even see the big deal!), it nags at me in the gift shop, where I proceed to purchase magazines that I know will only get eaten by my one year old and drawn on by my 2 yr old and then i think about it in the elevator ride, the walk down the corridor and then i'm there, at THE DOOR, to the room of the relative. My palms are sweaty and I think, today I am going to smile and wave. YES today I am going to change the world with a smile. YES I am going to make this persons day...Open the door, in we go.....

ahh...the roommate is gone. Oh well maybe next time :)

Naptime is upon this household (Let the chorus of angels sing) and the dishes are done, everythings clean and while I was gone husband even spot cleaned some of the carpet! Ohh maybe I should go away more often!!

Frustration!

The phone is ringing like crazy, the smell of burning bacon is wafting through the house, the kids are screaming MOMMMMMY like the JAWS theme (you know starts real slooooow and quiet and ends realllly loudly), I'm trying to go to the bathroom, but made the mistake of closing the door behind me (I mean who am I to think I can close the door to use the potty???) and my husband??? Well last I checked he was the one making the bacon, so i'm wondering what it's burning! Oh well so much for taking a shower right now too!

Out I come and I immidiately, am not wanted, since it's only fun to call mommy if you just want to drive her crazy :) The phone has stopped ringing as soon as I answer it and the bacon is DOA! Looks like sausage instead!!

On my husbands day off, we are still swarmed with things to do and still have people demanding we show up places. It really isn't fair when all you want to do is visit with sick ones in the hospital and get back home in time to do the grocery shopping for the week. You know, the shopping in which you spend over 200$ and STILL have nothing at all to eat when you get home???? The shopping that when you unload the bags at home, you realize that there are 3 boxes of way too expensive sugray cereal in and about 5 KING SIZE bags of M&Ms??? How on EARTH does this stuff get past me every time???

Guess I should set the table for breakfast! (I say this, but I know I will continue to sit here and maybe blog again ;) )

Wiped Out!

Wow! Can someone please tell me where my sunday went?? It's after 10pm on sunday and I honestly feel like it should be saturday night!

Did I mention today is my anniversary? We had a wonderful day, going out to dinner and having fun with the kids and such, but honestly I blinked and it was gone!

My daughter got her hair cut, my husband got new shoes, son got new shirts and shoes and mom??? Hmmm.... mom got....... oh that's right Vacuum Bags! Lucky me ;) We've been married 3 years today!!! So yes, those of you that have been following my little story that began today, that is 3 kids in 3 years! YIKES! We are crazy, and we love it.

I mean who wouldn't love going to a Japanese Tepan restaurant where you are seated with 4 other people on tables of 8 (since we are a family of 4 right now) and your two kids are having a contest who can get more rice into their mouths in less than 5 seconds!! Who wouldn't love the 10 minutes it takes to clean your kid head to toe with a baby wipe and make sure you get every single grain of rice that is honestly stuck into every crevice of their bodies! And of course who wouldn't love the looks that 'sophisticated' group of 4 is giving you when you are headed to their table and they realize that YES we are being seated next to them! I laugh every time, and I must admit I get a kick out of it!

So this is the romantic evening my husband and I have planned now that the 2 kids have finally fallen asleep consists of this:

Me and the computer and Husband and his PS2! Life has never been sweeter :) I think that's how we manage to still be crazy in love with each other!! We each have our own 'thing'

I've been working hard on my halloween stuff recently and just wanted to share my favorite piece!!

I think I blinded my OB!

Well I recently had an OB appointment and boy was it interesting! I recently started seeing a new doc and this was my FIRST time with this guy. I was nervous and took EXTRA time to get ready in the morning!

Clean shirt, CHECK!
Fixed Hair, CHECK!

All the right stuff! I even washed with the fancy stuff! I used Victorias Secret Love SPELL, and if you have not smelled it yet, you really must! it's FABULOUS!

I have the body cream, and the shimmer lotion. I put the lotion on my arms for that extra sparkle. Little did I know just how distracted I was, that i used the shimmer lotion on my ENTIRE BODY....meaning EVERYWHERE....

So there I am getting undressed and ready for my exam at the OB, when I see my legs SHINING like a DIsco Ball straight out of the 70s!!! I tried so hard to get it out, I ran to the little sink in the exam room and grabbed some paper towels and tried to wipe it off to no avail. If you've tried this stuff, you will learn that it's like spray paint. So there I was with glittery thighs and mortified! I'm sure I was the talk of the office that day.

Yet another blunder in the life that I really am proud to admit is mine!

Meet Me!

I've heard it so many times, it's just become me. Do you know what I mean? You show up to a party of any kind. The family bar-b-q right up to the swanky wedding. You look great (at least your husband said so, even though he barely glanced your way, he's just so used to answering every question with a yes dear), you smell good and you managed to get that strained pea stain out of last years dress that is just a bit too snug in all the obvious places. Your hair is actually down and brushed and you even have make up on. Then you meet someone new and you know it's coming, the big question...

"So, what do you you?"

and before you have the chance to answer one of your oh so witty CEO of the household comments, someone steps in and answers for you, and it's always one of those people that you just want to strangle 99% of the time.

"Oh Michelle? She's JUST A STAY AT HOME MOM."

and the answer that follows:

"oh um wow, you must love being home all the time."

Then they walk away and are gone to someone more interesting. You know, the ones with REAL jobs and now you are left with the feeling you have become all to familiar with, the whole, no one really understands what I do, I just want to go home watch DORA and snuggle with my kids and go to bed in my queen size bed that somehow feels like a twin come 2 am when 2 kids crawl in and your husband is snoring up a storm and there is just no room for your 8 month pregnant body to fit, so you end up on the couch, cold and alone. Yeah, that's always better than sitting here in this too tight dress, these heels that are KILLING me and all I want to do is pull my hair up in a ponytail and wipe this stuff off my mouth.


So there you have it! I'm a stay at home mom to 2 kids and I really do have one more on the way! Yes, I have my hands full, OF COURSE I never miss an episode of Dr. Phil, Oprah, MArtha Stewart and of coruse Judge Judy. (Insert MAJOR EYE ROLL HERE!!) If only people really understood that stay at home mom usually means NEVER at home mom! I think I have more clothes in my minivan than I do in my closet! Ahh yes, the minivan, the ever present mom mobile! It's big, mean and green!

My kids are 1 and 2 and I am due next month (I am soo ready for it to be now!)
