HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I better wish it now, since we will probably be asleep before midnight tonite! haha!
We had a full and fast weekend. I can't believe how quickly it flew by! So not fair!

We had company over on saturday and that was fun, the kids got more toys that they don't need! haah and it got my husband and I thinking how there are too many children out there that don't get even one present and our children get all this?! So we cleaned up their rooms and got loads together to donate to the childrens centers in the area (I hate the word orphanage).

My sales picked up today finally :) Yay! I have been trying to catch up from being behind this weekend and I find myself being pulled in loads of directions! I have an hour since my husband is home for lunch and that helps! I have to run to the bank and deposit some checks and then off to the post office to mail out some packages! Full day!!

The Sweet Sounds of...

NAPTIME!!!

Is it bad that I want to put on a ballgown, do up my hair and dance like crazy when naptime rolls around???? The house is silent, when I pick up toys, they stay put away!!! I can hear myself think, and I can sit and work peacefully!!

I love this time, don't get me wrong...Playing memory with 10 cards about 100 times, coloring the same circle 200 times and singing the wheels on the bus is really fun and great, but it's this quiet time that I look most forward to every day.

It's ME time and I love it.
I have been swamped with custom orders this week, it ws a miracle I finally finished! Only to find that my shop has been pretty dead. It's so obvious in my sales when I neglect it. I have to try and be better balanced, but my custom orders are where I really make my money.

The snow is CRAZY here! I can't believe how much it is coming down, and the flakes are so bug and chunky!! It's supposed to keep snowing all weekend! YIKES!

Today is my little guys birthday. Our middle child turns 2 today! He is too cute and his big sister keeps saying it's her birthday :( She has already asked for her presents and insists that she will blow out the candles. We're trying to teach her that it's his day and next week is hers, but she's not interested! The funny thing is that I don't think the birthday boy cares either! :)

Christmas is over!! It was a crazy and fun Christmas. We saw my parents a bit each day (Christmas Eve and the big day) but Roman was very sick the entire time, looks like a stomach bug got him. He's off to the Dr, tomorrow, to see if he has lost too much weight. This poor guy is just not doing to well.

They got a lot of presents and my middle boy was just not into the whole gift thing at all, he wanted to just run around! hahaha! Our princess opened EVERYONES gift, but once open, could care less about the actual gift! haha! UNTIL she got her big one....Her Fisher Price digi cam! She's still toting it around EVERYWHERE and taking pictures of EVERYTHING! it's soo cute!!

Life has been hectic lately and it seems like our January has fille dup out of nowhere, we have our sons Baptism this month too! It took us a bit to come up with his godparents, but my husband finally suggested my parents and I agreed, so that's pretty cool and totally easy! YAY!

Other than that nothing too exciting has been going on, just trying to organize our year :)

Where has the time gone??

Oh wow! It's Christmas Eve tomorrow!! I can't believe it!! I'm sooo excited!!

Does anyone want some appetizers? If you are int eh Rockford area, let me know! haha I have loads of apps left over. We were expecting company today and they were no shows, so I have lots leftover!! My husband told me not to make anything because he knew they wouldn't end up coming, but I always have to have something out, who wants to go to a house where they don't offer up a snack or you have to ask for something?? argg...oh well, I guess if we don't eat it tomorrow I just have to dump it all.

The kids have been begging to open presents all day today and I so want to just give in! haha! I don't know How we will get through tomorrow still! :)

I'm looking forward to the calm and peaceful evening we will be having!!

My baby is sick again, he hasn't been keepign his food down today so that has me worried, doc said to give it another 24 hours and see how he does from there. I am so glad we are not going anywhere, if he gets more sick who knows what will happen! Poor little guy has been sick more than he's been well so far.

I am happy to say that I am ready to get the Christmas decorations down! All these ornaments are driving me nuts making sure that the kids don't touch them :) Next year I say we decorate the tree in nerf balls!

Tuesday Is So SLOW

Yay! we have heat again!! Our furnace has been on the fritz the past few days and we finally had the guy come round today and in 10 minutes it was fixed! Now all I do is complain about being hot! hahaha! Oh well it's a great feeling :)

Took out the Turkey today for Christmas Eve dinner, it took us forever to make room in the fridge for it! Had no idea it would take up so much space!

Has anyone else out there NOT wrapped presents yet? Ours are all sitting under the tree, just not wrapped :) We really need to get on that! I won a gorgeous brooch off EBAY for my husbands grandmother and I fell in love with it when it arrived! I only hope she likes it too! I also found another one at an antique store that he loved for her, so we go that one too! That was fun shopping!

We bought the mother in law a super cute bracelet that I'm sure she will love, but I know I could have made myself! It killed me forking over that kind of money, when I know I could have made it, haha but the pieces would have cost twice as much. Isn't it amazing how that works?

My dad was a fun person to buy for, we got him this awesome keychain that is a digital photo frame, it has 80 pics of the kids on there and it's super cool! I think he's really going to like it!

Got the brother in law some DVD set he's been wanting, it feels so impersonal, but he wanted it :)

My mom got some CDs she's been dying for and a couple of books that I saw come out that I knew she would dig!

I found some great pendants on ETSY for my sis and a cute bag that I am making the bag charm for.

The kids got loads of great stuff, it has taken EVERYTHING I have not to give it to them yet! My husband has been itching too! It's so fun to see their reactions!

Kids and Mail

The mail comes every day and every day I hope for junk mail, just so that there is something to give the kids! These kids LOVE getting mail. No matter if it's the grocery ad or a coupon to Burger King, they are THRILLED!

SO today they get actual Christmas cards in the mail from grandma and it was soo cute cause husband and I are thrilled they have real mail.....well they get them and all toss them aside, all they want is the Mexican grocery store ad!!!! They had REAL mail and wanted to pass! CRAZY KIDS!

We finally open up the cute little cards and they have stickers in them, and well that was cute b/c they played with them for all of 5 seconds before they ended up in the trash! Yup, as soon as my little guy loses interest in something he wants to throw it away! haah, so we always know to keep the garbage cans locked up tight. Oh well at least they liked them for a bit and that's all that matters :)

We have been debating on what age it would be best to start volunteering on Christmas day, so we don't have to deal with this stress and at the same time help people out who's lives are truly stressful, if you and your family volunteer during the holidays, please drop me a line!

Is Christmas over yet?

Seriously!! please tell me it's January 1st :)

I hate the holidays! When November rolls around, my husband and I just want to hide. Crawl under a tree or even go on vacation. We would be in Disney World this year for the holidays had we not just had a baby.

Christmas and any other holiday is just downright ridiculous in our lives. We have 3 kids and want our children to enjoy their presents at home and we want to enjot that, but NO we have to have family! haha! You know, I have two functions to go to and he has two funtions to go to, so add that up and the total is FOUR in TWO DAYS>?!

So of course there is a lot of:
You only spent 2 hours here, how much are going to spend there?
then there is:
Why are you going there first? were you not there first last year?

and of course:
why on earth do you live so far? all that driving time could have been spent here.

I would love to see my grandkids more often

Husband and I have been looking into moving...far away..but the scary thing is, that if we are gone all year round, then we would BE EXPECTED at the holidays...and then it would be even worse....

So we thought...problem solved we had a baby and he's a pretty sick little dude, so Doc says to us yesterday we have to keep him away from peeps for a bit in confined spaces like HOUSE PARTIES...we told him we were already staying home, but of course, we had real bonifide proof from the doc that we should stay home..


well NO NO NO NO NO...you would think we had just said...

Umm...We have decided to become cult members and will be living in a bomb shelter for the rest of our lives with our children and we never want you to see them again!

It's been HELL! moaning...bitchin...complainin....you name it! The best are the guilt trips! MY husband laughed and said oh well maybe they feel better thinking we feel bad about it! but we really don't..you see it's a Christmas that we get to wake up in the morning and open presents at a nice pace and not rush to get everyone showered and out the door otherwise we lose precious hours at one house. It's a Christmas that we get to sit and play with the toys Santa brought. It's a christmas that will be our first as a family of 5 and we get to share it with our Children and we get to go to church together. It's a Christmas where my husband and I won't argue over when we need to leave each location. Don't people get it...It's a Christmas that my husband and I won't be stressed. Our kids get to see us enjoy ourselves for the first time in a long time. Thank you Lord for the blessing of a new baby.

I dream of finding the perfect Vintage Mini dress. You know ala Marica Brady?? I want to pair it with jeans though. I have found so many cute ones in size negative 0, but alas nothing in my size!

I am willing myself to find one SOMEWHERE! I have searched ETSY and Ebay to no avail, but the funny thing is that I do find somethings listed as mini that I know are soo not!

One day I will find it!

Ice Storm

WOW! The streets were like skate parks today! Icy everywhere, at least they were empty except for me! hahaha! I had a custom order and I always feel the need to get them done ASAP! So out we went to the stores to get everything I needed! I didn't have to wait in any lines at all! So that was a bonus and all the workers were nice (maybe b.c they didn't have to deal with a lot of people!). So note to self: If I want empty streets, short lines, friendly people just go shopping when the weather is horrendous!

After that we spent some time getting ice cream at the local ice creamery! It was so nice for all of us to sit together and my husband and I to chat. Sometimes you forget how much you still need to talk when life gets busy.

A great Week

It is my goal to make this a great week. Not talking sales per-se, but just the normal every day things. You know kids, creating, husband, life!

I have heard from friends and I truly believe that life is what we decided to make of it. We get back what we give to the world. So I want to go out there and make today a fantastic monday, not just another start of yet another week. Know what I mean?

I know I must sound all sunday morning preachery, but I am trying to turn the monday blahs in the monday yeehaaas! :)

Not much going on today on the outside world, thank goodness, since I am FREEZING and wouldn't want to make it any worse by going outside!

MY studio is a disaster and one of Decembers goals was to clean up the studio EVERY night! and that soo did not happen! haha! It looks like a lego factory exploded in here. I have got to get this cleaned up this morning before the kid wake up, because those silly kids will actually think the legos are for playing with ;)

Slow Sunday

I sit here typing in my pajamas! MY pajamas that I woke up in! Yes folks it's been a lazy day. I sent my husband to the post office for me, sent him for take out for lunch and am thinking about doing it for dinner too! hahaha! I love days like this!



I have gotten absolutely nothing done at all, not even so much as a pair of earrings. I think I just needed a day away from it all to collect my thoughts. But it has also shown in my sales as I have not sold a thing! YIKES!



MY husband has decided to open up his own ETSY shop too! How cool is that?! We finally get to work together, but not really! haha! He is pretty excited and used all day to create a few pieces!! You should check him out: www.Brickmaster3.Etsy.Com . It's his new hobby and he's thrilled with the VIEWS he gets, he loves to just run and check if someone new has looked! He's like a kid in a candy store and I couldn't be happier! He wanted something for us to do together and he found it! Now after the kids are in bed, we're in teh stsudio working on new pieces :) I make lego jewelry he makes lego desk accessories! hahaa! Fun!!

Down with COMed

ARGGGG....We went out for paper towels this evening! That's it, nothing else. So I had a total of like $5.00 in my pocket. We all went, just to get out of the house. Well, we get back from the store and notice that all the lights in our neighborhood our out, even the stoplights and the streetlights...it's a ghost town!! The town restaurant has it's lights out and everything. So we realize it's a huge power outage.

Really smart people we are, we pull into our driveway and click the garage door opener...
ummm..it's not working??? WELL DUH! NO POWER!! We didn't have an keys on us! So we were locked out of our house with 3 kids who were ready to eat dinner (I had tamales waiting for us inside) and NO MONEY!! We call ComEd and find out the power is expected to be restored in a few hours!! AUGHHH!!! So we catch my bank open thank goodness, and I had to do a signature withdrawl, since I didn't have my ID with me!!! It was the day from heck! hahaa! We started to plan in case the power stayed out for the whole night. Husband wanted to go over to my parents house, so we had to buy clothes, and all the little stuff. Thank goodness I always have a change of clothes for the kids in the car and my breast pump! We took the kids to TARGET and hung out there with juice and popcorn, the place was loaded with people from teh meighborhood!! Everyone wanting to go somewhere warm! Moments like this made us realize we need a fireplace in the new house! hahaha!!

After that we hit up the big antique barn that is one of my faves! I got lots of neat-o goodies, that I will have to photograph later and show you all! I love antique stores :) It's a passion!

Since the kids had filled up a bit on popcorn and juice and milk and then gotten tired walking the antique store, we decided to try the house again and if no lights yet, then we would head out to dinner somewhere out of the neighborhood! When we got close we saw everything was back on though, so YAAYY!! We quickly put a spare set of keys in the van and got dinner on the table!!

Have I mentioned how wonderful it is to be married to someone that actually DOES something around the house :) and with the kids!! It's AWESOME! We have church tomorrow and then we're just going to Veg out!!

I will post pics of my awesome finds later!! Husband adn I are going to put the kids to bed and then it's monopoly night!

WOW! The WEEK IS OVER?

This week has seriously flown by!!!

Yesterday was a busy day for us! We ran around a lot! WE finished up the kids christmas shopping and then headed off for Dinner at PAnera! It was delicious!! I love their Chicken Noodle Soup!! YUM!

After that a trip to TARGET to get some not so fun stuff like diapers and wipes! haha. How is it that stuff that barely lasts an hour has to cost so much?? And if you buy generic, it like falls apart?? grrr...Potty training these 2 has NOT been a success at all! Let's just say I do ALOT of laundry!!

And our final trip was to Michaels where I finally dove in and decided to try my hand at resin pendant making. I bought the supplies and almost keeled over at the price. For me, I budget how much I can spend on supplies a month and this was a big hit for a hobby that I may not even like. Let me tell you, it's a hobby i'm not very good at! haha! I took my hand at it last night and I have a lot of bubbles in my first pendant!! YIKES! If you have any tips for me I would love that! I figured they would make great gifts for my cousins for Christmas! So pray for me that it works out! hahah! I hate how long it takes to harden and see if you did it right! I'm an instant gratification kind of gal!

This weekend holds an estate sale, one auction and a brand new antique mall find that i'm dying to try out! YAY!

BLAHH!!! My little princess woke up sick today! Which is NOT NOT NOT good for my baby who was in the hospital with RSV, he's still getting over it and now this! grr.. I've tried my best to keep the apart, but I am still their main connection. I just hope upon hope that my little guy does not get this.

I feel like I have been on the longest ever ride of my life! haha it's been a full day from the beginning!

Husband woke up late for work and that should NEVER EVER EVER happen because he works ACROSS THE STREET! so they expect him to ALWAYs be on time! grr.. I hate the invention of SNOOZE BUTTONS! He should have gotten up right away!

Second, i've been going insane with thought because i've been asked to sell some items at wholesale to a boutique in Arizona!!!! Can you believe it?? My stuff in a store! how cool! But the business aspect of it has my brain reeling!

Thirdly My baby woke up covered in an explosive poop. I know I know TMI, but it really killed my senses! I have not been able to eat all day! It was everywhere and anywhere! He had to go straight into the tub, which was an adventure because my other 2 wanted to dive right in with him! They love the water!!!

THEN as if that wasn't enough, my thermostat bit the dust, I've beent rying to fix it on my own, but that is not working! haha! So I had to override it and now it's like 100 degrees in here on minute and then below zero the next!

So, in conclusion...is it friday yet?

The Eyes Of the Public...

HAHAHAH! I forgot to mention how my mom made me laugh the other day, she was talking about my blog and was asking me if Iknew other people could read it other than herself! She's too cute when it comes to this internet stuff! She's such a smart woman and works with computers daily, but I think blogging is new to her :) I thought that was funny. Yes, I know everyone can read this and I think that's my purpose for it! I love getting my feelings down on paper, especially the ones that I know I can't tell people to their faces! haha Maybe they will read about here! Like people in the grocery store that should mind their own business about how many kids we have ;) My blog is a medly of my life, my business and my downward spiral into insanity! Sometimes I just want to vent about stuff that drives me nuts about my husband and what better place to do that then here! Then he can log on in the morning at work and see just what I am mad about (Hi honey! Read the post below it's a good one about you!). Today while out at the store, we had a lady stop us and tell us how happy our children looked and it made me feel fabulous! I know my children are happy, but when other people notice it, it becomes an amazing thing that just makes you feel all tingly inside!

Lucky in Love

Have I told you how much I love my husband!?!? Honestly, he's great! We went antiquing this evening and just watching him browse and tell stories about stuff that he found made me smile and remember just how lucky I am to have found someone like him. I love that I can introduce him to new things and he never hesitates to try and then end up liking most of them! Him and my dad were just recently talking about our upcoming trip to the mouse house! It was his idea again to bring my dad! How cool is that!?? HE loves hanging out with him and that makes me loads of happy because my dad is my total BFF after my husband! So about my open house the other day, like I said it went totally well, but I have to come up with some new winter inventory for my shop now, since everything I was going to put up sold! YIKES! My grandma is coming in from Mexico in a couple weeks and she's interested in getting some goodies too, so I told her I may set up a little shop front and let her browse, I know I don't have to get all my funky stuff out since she's not into that! hahaha!! I've been thinking recently with my husband about possibly hosting our own craft fair and opening it up to ETSY sellers only. It would be a great way to branch my business out in a craft market NOT overrun by the old church ladies that don't go near my stuff with a 10ft pole! I need the funky minded ;) BUT my problem is that my husband wants me to contact the Wicked Witch of the West (insert the DUN DUN DUNNNNN music here) hahaha! He knows someone that is in the hotel business and can get me a decent sized banquet room for cheap, but well we both can't stand her and he doesn't want to call and I certainly don't...and this person is sooo not reliable! Believe you me, I worked with her before. Soo it's on hold right now!!

SNOW SNOW SNOW

Oh boy! The Rockford news actually got something right today! It did snow!!!! It's soo pretty, but too cold and too many people that don't know how to drive in it are on the roads, so i'm pretty bummed about that! My jewelry show is supposed to be today, but I know the weather is an excuse many people will use! Oh well, at least my mom will show :) You know how moms are always there to support you and then buy something whether they need it or not! haha!!

The plow is doing our street right now and it's soo annoying, just as bad as the wind whipping the snow all against our window! I like my early morning peaceful, I feel like I get more work done that way. Now I just want to sit here on the computer and do nothing!

I was CARDED

I had to buy wine today for my open house on sunday and I got in the shortest line.... well of course it was a line where the checker was like 13 and he had to call for someone that was 21. After waiting what seemed like an eternity when the shopping cart is RIGHT NEXT to a candy aisle with 2 toddlers, a hungry baby and a husband that wants every candy there is! hahaha, someone finally comes that CANNOT possibly be 21!! She cards me! I felt GREAT, then she said: "Oh, we have to card everyone that looks under 45!!!!" Oh umm geee...was that a compliment???? I'm only 27, but lately I feel like i'm 60! blahh!

Fantastic Friday!

WOOHOOO!!! Is all I can say! I love fridays. The weekend just seems to go by too fast lately though. I'm really hoping to do some good sales this weekend at my open house, but who knows only time will tell! My goal is just to make 100$ it doesn't seem like a lot, but my stuff is not that pricey. So let's hope :) I'm using that money to buy my darling little husbands Christmas gift. Not sure what I want to get him though. What's Love got to do with it

WHOA! was yesterday the longest day of my life or what??? I even went to bed at 10pm! Hahah! I was just exhausted! It goes to show how much I rely on those little extras that my husband does. His lunch hour and getting home in time to start on dinner. It helps so much! His out of town adventure ends today at noon, so he should be home by 230, hopefully!! Then that's only like a half day right??

Baby has had me up since 4am, but I think with going to bed so early, it won't affect me too much!

I've been hitting a crafting wall lately. I have vintage button lots and vintage jewelry to list, but can't seem to create anything that will bring the traffic into my store. I NEED inspiration! I cleaned up the play room which is where I get most of it from and it was a no go! I cleaned and organized my craft space and still didn't get any ideas...I'm hoping a new order coming in from Hong Kong with lots of new charms will help me out!!

Can anyone give me advice on how to get through a rut?? LAtely my views are pretty down, but i'm sure it's because i've been doing a lot of renewing and people have already seen the item..or at least i'm hoping that's what it is!haha!

A LOt of CrAfT

It's been a full day of crafting!! why?? well my darling husband is going out of town tomorrow!! FAINT FAINT FAINT! It will be my first time taking care of all 3 little monsters all alone for 2 full days!!! AUGHHH!!! Whatever will I do?!?! I know for sure I will be EXHAUSTED! I just hope I can manage to stay alive!! hahha!! or at least awake! So i had to do a lot around the shop today.

I'm in the middle of attacking the worlds largest laundry pile! I wish my mom would come over and help! I know if I asked her to, she totally would, but I don't want to take advantage, especially when I know I can do it.

My rant of the day is at the post office!!! I went to the post office 20 minutes AFTER they closed and went to use the stamp machine and it was EMPTY!!! Then I went to use that 24 hour machine htat you can use your credit card in?? and it was empty too!! COME ON! 20 minutes lateR???? shouldn't they refill those things at the end of the day???

HairSpray

So I started watching this movie at midnight..already not a good idea!! I LOVED IT! but I fell asleep halfway through! I was feeding the baby and once that was over with I settled in to watch uninterrupted and that's when I found myself waking up this morning with the TV on and on the couch! hahaha!!!

All in all the movie is really good so far, it was just a crazy-busy day yesterday :)

I did alright with the showcase spot, I was happy with my sales and made 3 more this morning, so not bad :)

My hot ticket item right now seems to be my lego bracelets which just keep selling like crazy!! They take a long time to create, but are well worth it in the end! I just love the sound they make as you wear them and the bright colors that attract attention.

Monday Manic again

Whoa. It has been a busy morning! 2 drs appointments and grocery shopping all before noon! Get home in time to put everyone down for a nap get lunch in the oven and take a small break myself! It's been ridiculous!

Now that that is all out of the way I have to catch up with my blog and shop! I have a showcase spot today and It net 2 sales so far, not too bad if I do say so myself, but I wouldn't mind one or two more!! Last showcase got me 4 sales, so let's try and stick with that know what I mean?? hahahaha!!!

Todays post will be about 10 random things in my head:

Whoa Weekend

Come back! Wow has time flown by! Tomorrow is monday already and I have 2 drs appts for me and the little one! YIKES! I can't believe how crazy it has all been recently.

I did get a chance to go Antiquing over the weekend and i got some GREATTTT buttons! Loads of old ones! FABULOUS finds! Thanks to my dad for scoping out too! He's got a great eye! He's my fave antiquing buddy!

Thanksgiving was fun with my dad over, but soo much work! I vcaught Oceans 13 again and i'm sorry to say to all you out there that disagree, but I think it is THE BEST one!! I'm obsessed! It always makes me want to get all bad-ass robber like! hahahaha!! maybe that's why I went for the all in black look today!

I've been creating like crazy today b/c I have a showcase tomorrow and I want some good stuff to show, but i'm winding down and still have my biggest piece to put together still.

I'm also going to be sitting down to watch Hairpspray tonite, hope it's as good as it seemed!

Traumatic Tuesday

I am dyiiiing here! I got to sleep at 3am thanks to the baby, but then of course my toddler woke up! gr.rr.. sO I was up until about 4 soothing him only to have to be up for the baby at 6am when husband started getting ready for work! AUGHH! I swear I am barely holding it together! hahha!!.. Do you ever have those days where you are just walking in a haze?? Mine is an actual haze of course because I forgot to take out my contacts! So now i'm cloudy and hazy! Not a good combo!

I've started working with Perler beads, I saw them at the craft store and I had a coupon for 50% off so I figured what the heck, I will try something new :) I'm actually having a lot of fun, but it is NOT easy working with tiny beads and having a 1 yr old and 2 yr old lurking nearby :) I try adn get them involved, but they just want to throw the beads everywhere! haha! I've taken to just having a bowl of macaroni and markers nearby when I want to work and that gets them settled enough to get at least one piece done :)

I just did this rainbow necklace! What do you think? I am making another one cause I fell in love with it and now I must keep it! heehee!

Where did my weekend go?

So is it really monday already?? Oh wait in 3 minutes it will be. Where on earth did my weekend go? I swear we are not out partying or doin up the town seeing as how our son can't really leave the house. So where does it go?

Ahh..Cleaning, crafting, playing, cleaning, cleaning and cleaning...no fun!

Why are we in such a hurry to grow up when we're younger when all that ever happens is we have to do more crap??? hahah! It's such a bother to have to be an adult! Maybe that's why I love making such fun stuff?? It takes me way back.

Life has been crazy-hectic since little Roman was born and I swear it's not getting any slower. We have soo much going on it's insane! The good news is that I don't have a rant of the day since it all went really well! The bad news is I dont' have a rant of the day to entertain you with!!

This mornings energy high

OH WOW! So this morning I wake up to the best feeling in the world! A sale! But not just one, THREE!! And they are my most favoritest items!!! MY chunky button bracelets! I'm sad because I needed them for my show! hahaha! SO now I have to to make more, but thrilled because it's great to see them find an amazing home of a button lover!

I just peeked in on my little ones sleeping like angels and noticed:

My son has chocolate on his mouth from a late night cookie I allowed him to have,
My daughter still had her barettes in her hair probably bothering her sleeping head and the baby was sleeping soundly with 2 stuffed animals in his bassinet.

Sometimes I'm afraid i'm not a good enough mother, i worry that I forget stuff too much, that i'm not playing with them enough, that I don't teach them enough. Do you know what I mean?

Then when I start to think like that I go downhill from there:

Am I good enough wife? Homemaker? Jewelry maker..daughter....child of God...

do you know what I mean? Sometimes I just have one of those feelings that nags at the back of my head that just keeps nagging until I acknowledge it and move along until tomorrow....

So I'm bored

130 am and that nap I had in the middle of the day is catching up with me! haha! I can't believe I am still awake. Oh well it makes feeding the baby easier as I am not waking up from a deep dark sleep!

I'm in cleaning mode and am cleaning up my studio while sitting here typing away!I love to multitask!

My rant of the evening is not taking PAYPAL! haha! i fell in love with some great tags to use for my show I have coming up to price my jewelry and BAM (forgive my Emeril reference) as I am about to check out I see it right there in the corner of my eye....

Gone So long

Sorry i've been gone so long! It's been a tryingt ime for my family with the little one in the hospital :( But we're slowlllllly getting back to normal.

The shop has almost reached 100 sales and I could not be more thrilled! Who would have thought that there are other people out there that like bold and bright stuff just like I do!! 80s rule!! hahahah!!

This is the resort in Mexico we are staying at! I'm super excited! It's one of my favorites!!

Nothing too exciting has been going on, we've been busy planning our Thanksgiving day meal and then our Christmas lists for the kids. It's going to be a light present year since we have 2 big vacations coming up!

We have Mexico in July with 5plane tickets, 5 passports and 2 hotel rooms, it's a small fortune! Just let me pass out now!

Then inNovember we have Disney World and we're taking my dad again, so that's 6 plane tickets, 6 passports, 2 rooms at the Yacht Club Resort has me wondering what on earth I am thinking! hahaha!! But we need the convenience factor of the Deluxe resorts. Everything inside, restaurants in the resort and all that jazz! Not to mention the best pool on property!

That's the Yacht Club and I'm in love with it! It's one of my favorite resorts on property!!

Alright off to tend to my monsters now!

Alright I have a song in my head from the newest High School Musical movie and I have yet to see it!! I NEED TO SEE THIS MOVIE! I'm obsessed! haahha! does that make me crazy??

I've been super busy lately with everything, I've been neglecting the blogging. I'm really mad today at my sons new doc. Roman was supposed to see the ear specialist today because he can't hear out of his left ear and ONE HOUR before the appt. they call to CANCEL!?!?!!? Do they NOT understand how long it takes to get THREE KIDS ready?!? Or that people with JOBS need to take TIME OFF?!??! I hate people that don't think,.....grrr...They over booked?!!? Is that my fault!??! They should have had the Dr. stay LATE to get everyone in.

Alright that vent is over!! hahahaah!!


NEXT vent is people that don't mind their own business. Anyone been to the grocery store with 3 kids and have the NOSY busy body come over and ask

"you aren't going to have another one are you!?!?!?!?!"


Umm...what business is it of yours?!?? Why does this old broad care how many kids I have or want or have?? Is she pushing them out for me?? Is she paying for my groceries??? Is she the one carrying a cup of goldfish on one hand, bottle of milk in the other and still managing to push the cart and NOT hit anyone???? Yeah I thought not. I was thinking of giving her my business card and a link to my blog so she could read about her rudeness on here today!

Lets Talk Collections

I've been inspired while doing dishes this evening with todays blog posting.
so now you know NOTHING fantastic or even remotely interesting happened today! hahaha!

What do you collect? I'm an avid collector of Vintage Tupperware, but I MUST get it at a good deal! I love that old stuff and those colors...ahh amazing! I want to retro fit my whole house, just not sure what the husband would say about that! heehee...

MY second fascination is the 80s (as you all know by now) and mainly those 80s PLASTIC charms!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE em!! I will have to photograph some of my fave pieces and get them up here soon, but that's about it for today! I'm so sad and boring today I must apologize!!!

Did I just see DAWSON on UGLY BETTY?!?!?! How cool is that! Anyone else here sit around EVERY week watching that show Dawsons Creek?!?!? I was obsessed! I really still need to buy that series on DVD! hahah it was addicting!!! alright off to watch the rest of this :)

Sorry So Long!

Oofta! Am I sorry I have been neglecting you all so much! thanks for the inquiries! I've been busy getting the kids on a schedule together and also trying to get my jewelry line in order for Christmas! It's been a busy time over at MichellesCharmWorld :) Just trying to keep up with everything at home and still have time to craft is insane!!

I must say that I am super emotional lately!! MY online friends from my newest ETSY community threw me an 'online baby shower' and it was too amazing! They sent the most amazing gifts and sweetest cards, I could not believe it. I will be promoing their shops in the future as soon as I get the stuff together! I want to photograph all the pretty goodies seperately. I appreciate it soo much! I cannot believe they did this for me :) 3 Kids and I've never had one, I come on this board and have a baby and they find out and BOOM, they do this! AWESOME AWESOME is all I can say!

WOWOW!

Oh man oh man! I have been overrun with phone calls, emails, visitors etc...does ANYONE remember that I JUST HAD A BABY??? I'm exhausted!! I really just need to update my store and then spend ther est of the time getting back into the swingof things with my 2 oldest! I fell so bad being away from them for those days in the hospital! Our new little guy is just adorable and sooo tiny. He's slowly getting onto the sleep train with us at night, but it's alright :) My husband is a great help.

I'm having visitors tonight and I am not thrilled, they are due to arrive almost at the same time as my husband and the playroom is already a mess and no matter how much I try to clean it up, I still can't bend down too low. I'm annoyed that he would invite people over during the week. grr...

Oh well the good thing, is that he knows I am totally annoyed and he's going out of his way to make everything perfect :) So I'm still a bit annoyed ;)

I'm Bacccckkkkk

Boy is it great to be home and not to mention having all 3 kids asleep at the SAME time!! I LOVE IT!!!

My little boy was born on Saturday and he is amazing!!! He's a strong and small, but fiesty little guy :) I cannot believe how quickly those 9 months flew by and now here he is at home!!

Here is his picture!! His name is ROman-Alexander and I have to say he looks like me :) My 2 kids are addicted to him and can't seem to get enough!! They are always helping, poking, smiling at him!! We're all so happy it's wonderful!

BABY!!!

Well i'm off to have a baby!!! I went out with a bang and did great in my shoppe today, so i'm happy!! Next time I come online, I will have a new little one with me!!!

Hump Day!!

Hi everyone!! It's halfway through the week and today promises to be super busy!!
I have craft store stuff to do, wanted to get a nightgown for the hospital still and have a load of stuff that needs to ship out again! It's amazing how it all adds up!

Did I forget to mention that I also have to go the hospital today?? ALONE?!? YIKES! Husbands boss really needs him today, so who am I to go against that ;)

I'm sure I can manage with a lot of cookies and the double stroller!!! hahaha!!

What a DAY!

OMG! What IS THAT??? Hmmm.... It's a.... YIKES...EWWW....AUGHH!!!!
Oh dear......OMG!!! SPIDER!!!!


That is what I wake up to this morning! My little boy holding a spider in his hands!! I am about to have a baby on saturday, so i'm ENORMOUS and swollen, but man I dive out of bed and Run David Hasselhoff Style to the liggle guy and practically maul the kid to get him to drop the spider... He freaks out, I throw a blanket over it. (Oh I have NO CLUE what I was thinking the blanket would do! hahah!).

Then I run and get a cup and the newspaper to trap the little guy, but I come back and my son has uncovered it and saved this spider from his demise......


Here is when I see, he has put the spider on his finger. Because it's one of those plastic Halloween spider rings! How incredubly embarressing!


Other than that little Blood Pressure raiser, the day was great albeit tiring! I got NO crafting done, but my mom did come over! We had a blast together and even did some shopping! I scored an AWESOME lot of vintage jewelry in a vintage jewelry box! I'm itching to take it all apart!!

Then I get online tonite to see I sold TEN THINGS today!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?!?!

TEN THINGS!!!! THat's AMAZING! I was even contacted by a magazine about featuring some of my stuff! This is just a really good day!

I'm off to the hospital to get some tests run tomorrow and lab work in preperation for the baby! I can't believe it's time for our little guy to be born!!!

Just another Monday

I can't believe the week has started again! This year has truly been flying by and i'm really loving it!!

I get to meet my little boy at the end of this week, so that is keeping me super excited!! Then I have so much to do still to get ready for him at home, it seems that it's all still a dream!

It's October and it's time to start new business goals for myself, I've been working on a good list and I definately want to average one sale a day, and update more of my listings, so that all my jewelry shows so much better!

I want to keep my craft corner organized and makes sure I keep creating new pieces as I am selling off my stock.

I'm hoping to do at least one more craft show this year for the holidays and then I will take a break until Spring most likely, job number one for me is being a mommy and getting this shop off the ground has taken a lot of late nights and i'm exhausted lately!!

I don't have any vents lately because i'm trying to keep my blood pressure low! I'm losing a lot of fluid and my little guy isn't moving too much, so i'm staying in and taking it easy as much as possible!!

This is todays piece and it was all created while watching Prison Break!! Anyone else love that show?? I swear I am holding my breath the ENTIRE episode!!

Good Morning

Well howdy! It's friday and boy am I thrilled!! I love having my husband around. I cannot believe that after being together this long, I still don't get sick of him! hahaha! I guess that's a good thing huh?

This is going ot be a fly by posting as we're headed out in a bit to pick up some stuff for dinner and then to the park! It's a great day out and we have got to take advantage of it!

I'm hoping to get some great photos taken too, I'm loving my new camera! It's AWESOME to work with and sooo easy! I can't promote the Kodak Line enough!! There are all the features I need to have AWESOME photos and it's as easy as a point and click to figure out!!

I'm trying to think of a good promotion for this week, since it's baby week! So keep your eyes on the shop!!

Neglected Again

Well I skipped another day here and I feel awful! I'm actually exhausted right now, but I needed to give this blog some love!!

It's been hectic having to go back and forth to the Doctor a lot lately, I'm just so tired of it all. There has been a lot going on and of course only more to come. We are doing a deep clean of everything in the place this weekend in prep for the baby and then the carpets are being spot cleaned & I have been given an ultimatum to make the craft space look a little more 'organized' YIKES!

I've started packing my hospital bag, but realized I still need so much more!! I can't believe how expensive a breast punp is!! I'm dying here trying to figure out which one to get and all that jazz!

We have a hospital tour and appt. to go to this weekend too and of course our little princesses last class with all her little friends. She was in a small speech group and it has done wonders for her and her brother! Next up will be dance lessons for them both. I was going to sign up for a weekday class, but husband doesn't want to miss it, so they will be going on a saturday! Yay! because now I will have help with the baby while watching the class.

I've worked on soo many new pieces these past few days in anticipation of the lag I will go through once the new little guy gets here!

My Dr. Makes Me laugh

Oh wow! get this!! I had an appt. yesterday and not only were we there forever, but of course we still have to do it all again 2 more times this week and 2 more times next week before baby day! grr...

Anyways, so we are about to leave and he says to me: It's time to start counting baby kicks. For one hour in the morning I would like you to lie down and count the babies kicks.......

At Night lie down for an hour and count the babies kicks.....



ummm....Is this guy a comedian? Because WHERE on EARTH does he expect me to find TWO hours to just lay there??????? RIght now i'm online or crafting during nap time and that's in the middle of the day, so it's not the right time and my husband comes home for lunch but that too is in the middle of the day. Oh well at least he made me laugh!!

Wow! A whole day forgotten! I'm so sorry! it's just been a busy week with the Dr. appointments and the mess that seriously must reach to the ceiling on my craft table from the show! It's a disaster!!

Myhusband must want to kill me, because I still keep crafting even though I don't have a table, so I use the dining room table! YIKES!

I have been working on some great new button pieces, because my supply needs to be eaten away! I have too many buttons, and an itch to buy more! What is your supply weakness?? I can just never say no to buttons!!

I need some funky craft shows so that I have an even better sales day! My stuff is definately NOT for the old lady set! Any ideas in my area? I'm willing to travel, just not too far since I will soon have 3 kids and my husband will probably explode watching all 3! hahaha! We also don't like to leave our children with anyone, so that's NOT an option. We are THOSE weird people! hahah! We knew what we wanted to do with our kids before we had them and we're having a blast doing it!

YAY for the weekend though!

The craft show was a lot of fun!! My dad and husband ended up helping me out, which was GREEEAT, I love hanging out with them and then afterwards...

I GOT MY NEW CAMERA!!!! You can totally tell the difference in my newer stuff! It's just taking me FOREVER to re-do all the photos! YIKES!

I have an ultra sound tomorrow, so that is pretty fun too! Hope the little guy is getting big enough for his debut in less than 2 weeks!! WOW!

I'm still fooking around with my new toy, so I don't have much to say right now, except I have a VENT about old people at craft shows! I will have to share it later though!!


I had some rude comments on how my stuff was for 6 yr olds!!! AUGHH!!! IMAGINE?? umm...no it's actually trendy stuff that you have no clue what you are talking about crazy old lady!!

So Annoyed!

Well today was a fabulous day UNTIL right about now! I need to get to bed as I have a craft show in the morning, but I had to share!

I belong to an online community that I am about to kick to the curb after this. I really enjoy sharing my work with them and then I ALWAYS help people with step by step instructions on how to do my work and where to get supplies and even inform on when there is a sale. I NEVER EVER keep this community out of the loop by saying
"oh i've been doing it for years, just practice and you will get better!"

So anyways, on one of my postings, someone asked if I sold my stuff and I said:

"yes I have an online store and I do custom work too"

Well this bitchy gal reported me and I got in trouble! Can you believe it?? This girl that posts her pictures CONSTANTLY and never helps ANYONE and ONLY posts in the craft forum, never anywhere else, and is always 'secretive' about how she does her work.

What a freak! So i'm annoyed by this, I think i'm just going to dump this community anyways, I just wanted to let me friends know when I had my baby etc. But I guess I can let them know through e-mail and stuff :)

Blahh it's only thursday and I fee like it should be Friday! Thank goodness only one more day!
Today was just crazy busy with running around and getting some last minute items for my show and then cleaning out all my supplies!

Today I also got a new Buzz campaign to start up on and it's 5GUM, this gum is FABULOUS! I cannot believe how long the flavor lasts! I was amazed!! So honestly if you ar a flavor gal like me, you have GOT TO TRY THIS GUM!!

Todays VENT of the DAY is PEOPLE!

AUGHH!!!! Alright I went to get some chain at HObby Lobby and I buy mine by the yard, so I had to go and get the stuff cut...well I get to the counter at the same time as this woman and I have ONE little spool ofchain to get cut up into 3 yards..SIMPLE! Thats' IT! ONE SNIP!

Well she bumps me to the side and says I WAS HERE FIRST and proceeds to empty out TEN Fabric bolts that she needs in varying sizes and then FIVE bolts of RIBBON she needs cut TOO!!

So the Cashier lady then said "She only has one chain to cut fast, do you mind if I take her??"

old crazy fabric lady then says:

"um I was here first, so I should get to go first"

Hobby Lobby lady and I then share a LOOK and roll our eyes as scary crazy old cat lady just looks on with a grin.

I just tell the Hobby Lobby Lady that I need 3 yards and put a post it on it and then take off to do my shopping and head back there later to get it when she is done.

Grrrr....It would have taken Crazy Old Bat Cat LAdy 3 seconds of extra time!!!!

So my vent was not really people in general just towards the:

Well if you look up top of the screen, you will see a little Hello Kitty Purse charm! That is todays project. I LOVe how it came out! I really want to keep it! haahah!!


I've had a much better day staying calm and not getting all worked up! My MIL was right this evening when she says to just take it easy because it will be over all too soon. I really don't want to rush these last days that my little boy is only mine. While he is growing inside of me, I don't have to share him and it's like we have our own secret language. All too quickly they grow up, move out, get married and get a life of their own.

YAAAAAY!

hahaah :) I say that now, only because our little girl entered out lives toooo quickly and before we knew it we were parents! It would be nice to have some 'married' time :) So I guess we will have to wait until we are old and gray! :)

Good Morning

Happy Hump day everyone! I'm in a much better mood today and ready to calm down from all my venting!!! I think I'm just getting annoyed being pregnant and having to go to the Dr. ALL THE TIME. So I sat down late last night and husband and I chatted and played a game (which I won of course) and then I did some beading! It really helped ALOT. MY work is my way to calm down! Now I just need a sale today and this day will be complete :)

16 DAYS???

Well It's official! I'm having a baby in 16 days! OMG! How on EARTH am I going to get everything done in time????? I cannot believe how much we still need and this is baby #3! CRAZY!!!

Todays Vent:

My darling wonderful husband! He truly is a dream except for one thing....THE PHONE! he hates it! My parents and I talk at LEAST 2 times a week and if they don't hear from me after a few days they call me and make sure everything is alright! I love chatting with them as long as they don't start moanin about when we are going to see them!! Which lately they have gotten the hint ;) Anyways....I chatted with my mom for like 45 minutes today and then my dad for a tad bit longer. I asked husband if he was going to call anyone to let them know about baby day......and he said Nah..It's like pulling teeth to get this guy to call his family members JUST to say hi! And then when he finally does, he's like dead silent writing on paper notes to me about what to say!?!?! Grrr...How hard is it to speak to YOUR PARENTS????

I don't get it at all!!! He says it's because he's afraid since everyone wants to see the kids and he would just rather avoid confrontation than deal with the cold shoulder when we have plans already... I just laugh!

This is how it goes I tell him:

Mom: Hey michelle, it's been a long time since you've been here.

Me: Tell me about it, we've been busy

mom: So when will you get here?

Me: When I have a chance...last I checked, Your car works and you have NO ONE to bring but yourself

Mom: It's far

Me: DUH! I drive the same amount with TWO KIDS AND PREGNANT to get there.

Mom: Michelle, you should take some time...

ME: Don't start.

There Done...Over! Mom talks about something else and life goes on! Who is AFRAID of their parents????

Yup that's my vent of the day! He fell asleep here on the couch next to me and if he wasn't so darn cute I would be mad ;)

Ughhh... I already had to lay down the law about the day the baby is born... I DO NOT WANT ANYONE THERE! I'm going in for SURGERY to have them REMOVE a PERSON from my body! My parents must be there and THAT IS IT! They are watching my kids and that's ALL I want seeing me after surgery! THEN After they meet the little guy, I want them to go on their way and I want to spend time introducing MY BABIES to my new Baby! Is that too much to ask?!?! I remember how awful it was for the hours after surgery last time AND it was evening, so I at least got to go to sleep!

It's been quite a day! I have to head to the Dr. This afternoon, but I have some time still. My Husband is taking me of course, so i've been getting the diaper bag ready with treats and activities to keep the kids reeled in :)

I must say that the last vent hit home with some people! hahaah! If you are reading this and you think i am talking about you I AM! hahaha! I mean if you fit the description, then it must be you right?????????? AUGHHH!!! all the weird e-mails I got about people wondering if it was them, was just too much!! Maybe I shouldjust start naming names :)

Honestly! Don't take offense to anything vented here I just need to get it out!

My craft show is this weekend!!! I am going crazy getting everything ready for the show, but I cannot believe how much there is to do still.

I'm looking into doing an OPEN HOUSE too, So if you are near or around Rockford IL and are selling anything (from AVON to tupperware to home made goods) let's get together and have all things for sale in one place! The Open house is a GREAT way to get traffic to your online store and familiarize people with your product!!

Hi all!! Finally the day is winding down! I swear I thought it would never end! The morning went by really fast and then it just started to draaaagggggg.....

My evening vent if towards people that think I'm their personal gift maker. I LOVE making my stuff....BUT NOT FOR FREE!!! Do you know how many people owe me money??? I'm awful about asking for it too!! Here is the worst part....I know they are collecting money for my stuff when they give it to someone else. GRRR Makes me want to explode! I just hope that at least my Business card is getting passed around with these things. I have friends that will drop me an order and then when I deliver I just get a smile and a "I'll get you next time" YIKES!

It's got to stop NOW! I'm going to start saying PAYPAL only and I will mail it out to you! Or something like that. Why do people EXPECT free stuff?? It costs me money to MAKE EVERYTHING and yet they don't care.

It's not like i'm making millions from this either!

What am I Doing Wrong???

Well this is my think piece of the week, and I'm apologizing ahead of time as I am not putting my all into it, since I am so tired!!

I have been hearing ALOT of moaning and groaning on TV, in real life and in movies, online etc... about Mother In Laws from hell! YIKES! So I guess my question is what am I doing wrong? hahaha! I really like mine. She's really sweet, loves her son (my husband) and minds her own business! hahaha :) Really! She's nothing like these nightmares I read about. I was wondering if there is a verrrrry small minority of us that actually like thier MILs???

I will admit that I don't call her mom though! Does that make me wierd??? I just feel odd about it. I have a mom and I love my mom so much, that I just can't add on another one. Know what I mean? My mom is an amazing woman who sacraficed a lot to make me who I am today (bitchy and mean ;) ) and I appreciate her for everything, and well there just is no other mom like her. I know it's not a replacement or anything like that, but it's just wierd to me. I've been married 3 years and nothing has changed in that department.

I have seen people that call their Inlaws mom and dad before they are even married!! YIKES! That kind of creeeps me out! hahaha!!! Like I said I march to a different beat, so I could totally be alone here.

I do call my husbands grandmother Grandma though. It feels right. I think it's because I lost my best friend grandma when I was 18 at a crucial point in my life and I miss her every minute of every day still. I have another grandma, who is just too far away in another country and I don't see her nearly as often as I wish...So maybe just maybe I wish husbands grandma were really mine?? I like her so much and she's the greatest. A replacement?? Maybe not, because I still think about my real grandma, but at least she's here and I can hug her :) Ahh...now i'm getting all sappy and that's not me!

Another thing I'm doing wrong is the whole 'family' insanity thing! There is just not enough time in the weekends I SWEAR! we have so much going on it's crazy. I feel that there is only so much we can do right now and everyone is barking down our throats about seeing their 'grandkids' blahhh...

Peeps you gotta realize we have lives too and just because you have a free day does NOT mean our day is free too! I only hope these people realize that with 3 kids we will be leaving home even less often!!!! It's hard enough as it is.

So sorry guys, but if you want to see us, I SWEAR I just travelled on it yesterday! The highway DOES extend this way!!! Can you believe it!!!!! But now if only our schedule freed up!! ;) We already skipped one of my daughters classes this week, to steal away for our family time, and I feel bad, so we have to stay on top of that!!!

NEGLECT!!

Hi all! I apologize profusely for how busy I have been this weekend! It has just been the never ending appointment, meeting, running around day! And then get this!!!

I made 5 SALES TODAY!! How cool is that?! I'm super happy!!

Life is definately good, but I am also DEFINATELY exhausted!!

Yesterday took us to a giant rummage sale of sorts and found us some fantastic stuff! I could not believe how big this place was though. There were some super rude old ladies too! Just pushing and doing whatever they wanted just because they were old!!! That drove me nuts, I just wanted to push and shove them back half the time. People were just snagging ANYTHING they saw, not even thinking about it! hahaah It was pretty funny.

Then we hit up the Zoo for the last time this year and that was soo much fun! The kids had a blast running around and got worn out by the time it closed. A very special day indeed!

I still managed to get some new pieces in my store, so that was a good thing too! YAYY!

The day really has me exhausted though, so i'm sorry to cut this one short!

It's madness!!

Sorry it's been so long since i've updated!!! I've just been so exhausted lately and i've had a couple custom orders to handle too! I cannot believe how quickly this week went by! It's FRIIIDAY!!! I feel like I just wrote that about last week!

I made the mistake of running some errands with the kids while husband is at work, and boy did it knock me out! I was soo tired, I thought I was going to collapse! At one point I had to go and sit down for a bit!

I swear there are NOT enough people reading this blog! Because as I went to Hobby Lobby last night, there had to be at LEAST THREE people ask me if i was OVER DUE, since I was so HUGE! YESSS they used the word HUGE!

My hormones had me raging so much, I just wanted to pick up the curtain rod I had and beat them with it! (Wonder if it would be justified?). People really need to get a clue!

On another note, I CANNOT stand people that are in their own world while shopping that they let their kids run WILD! This woman was in the fabric aisle just doing her thing, while her (I would say 8-10 year old) child was DRAGGING HERSELF across the DIRTY floor! On her belly!!!! She had on a skirt too. This girl was laying on her belly and she was using her arms to get herself around on the FLOOR! It was DISGUSTING! My two year old said "blahhhh" I mean even she knew how gross that was! The mom saw her kid doing it twice and didn't say a word, just kept doing her shopping. EWWWW.....

I've listed a bunch of new things in my shop, since I had some time to photograph and I must say I NEED A NEW CAMERA! ughh my photos are awful and I swear that I would sell more if my pics were clearer! I did have 1 sale today though, so that made me happy!! I LOVE IT!

I've also had a couple brilliant ideas for product, that i've been working on today, so let's hope I can get those up soon!!

We have a busy weekend ahead of us, so forgive me if i don't update again until sunday evening!!!

Oh What a night!

Alright, I will not sing for you! I don't want to scare anyone away!! Thanks for the new compliments everyone :)

I am really trying NOT to neglect this blog, but today was just plain busy all day and then I even tried to take a nap, but alas I was just about to close my eyes when one of my little ones woke up! grr....

So I'm really tired and wanting to go to bed right now, but each time I get in bed, my husband is snoring up the biggest STORM in the world!! I have tried it all unsiccessfully, and now here I am! I figured I better at least get todays post in, since I have an excuse to be awake!
So much for getting a full nights rest today!

If you have any advice on how to stop a snoring monster, please send it my way!!! I've shaken, turned, squeezed noses, pushed, punched and even pulled hair! NOTHING works! This guy is OUT!

Today was a GORGEOUS weather day! I could not believe how wonderful it was! A day that begged to be spent outdoors! So I think that is what made everyone exhausted! We were all knocked out come the end of the day! It was Enchilada night and boy were they YUMMY!!

Well today was pretty boring to read I can already tell! Don't want to keep you all reading here for no reason, so i'm out!

Just another day!

Well it's been a slow morning so far, but we have a couple of errands to run this afternoon! Off to the post office to get some orders out and then to the grocers to pick up some stuff for salad for dinner tonight!

I have not had any time to work on any pieces today yet as nap time was totally delayed and my kids are stillll awake! My husband just walked in the door for lunch though, so that helps!

Today i've been craving watermelon LIKE CRAZY! I really need to pick me up some of that!! And I would looove a Lemon flavored popsicle!

I have about 25 more loads of laundry to do today as it's bedding day and blahhh boy do I hate it! My kids think it's fun to step on the sheets that I have dragging on the floor as I carry them to the wash and then I almost fall and they laugh for liek 20 minutes! EACH TIME! hahaha!!

I live with a bunch of comedians!

This weekend is an amazingly huge garage sale, rummage sale type of thing and I CANNOT WAIT to hit it up!! We already have the van prepped!

We like to garage sale like CRAZY all summer and then HOARD it all for winter when it goes on EBAY! People tend to be deprived of garage sales at that time and head towards EBAY!

NOT TO MENTION! I'm hoping ot vind some AWESOME vintage pieces too!! YAY!

Manic Monday!

AUGHH!!! It was a total manic monday! SO much running around to do and in not time the day way over!

It was a good day though, just tiring!

anyone here like crafting?? Joanns has a FABULOUS coupon flyer this week AND lots of great buttons for .10!!! I could not believe it!! I'm looking to make something good now with all the goodies I go for under 6$!!! WOOHOO!!

I had 2 sales today and that was another good feeling! The doctor and I have ALMOST nailed down a baby date and the library books have actually been returned ON TIME!

Life is good today!! EXCEPT i was a total lazy bum and bad mom! I allowed Mcdonalds for dinner because I was too wiped out to cook after all that! YIKES!

Oh well back to normal tomorrow!!

The week begins!

Another appointment in the afternoon tomorrow, so i'm getting ready for that and the great news is that I had another SALE! YAY! So that certainly brightened up my weekend!
It was a tiring evening as we re-arranged our bedroom! We are keeping the baby in his bassinet near the bed for the first few months if not a bit longer, just for feeding purposes. SO we moved around a bunch of stuff (ie: husband moved, I dictated!) and it looks great! We then proceeded to play our sunday night game of Scategories in the room! hahah! I WON! (of course!)

Other than that there was not too much more going on, just the usual routine of playing outside stuff!!

I have no new rants today, but it could be because we've been busy all day and haven't really stopped to talk to anyone :) So we have not encountered any rudeness! AND best of all it's sunday!! So that means no mail ;)

Hope the weekend was good to you all!! Back to the insanity of a STAY AT HOME MOM tomorrow!!

I always put a start and end time, and even near the end, I can be found clearing dishes....putting stuff away and yet people still STAY!!! There was no ???? it clearly said an END time! hahahaha!!!

Gotta love family I guess!! It's always the Friends that have every excuse in the book as to why they have to leave EXACTLY 25 minutes after walking in the door ;)

Don't worry, I know the truth! Your party life is soo much more fun than my boring life with smelly kids and I soo don't look the same without my make up on and my hair all done up and those leather pants I used to wear! hahah! Yup that's life, growing up and becoming JUST a mom! But not to worry Friends, I would leave with you if I could! (Granted the cheerios in my hair, the leather pants that don't zip and my 2 yr old make up stash would probably scare away ANY chance of you having fun!).
